Eltaszone - TNM Super League: Big Bullets off to title defence with win

Big Bullets FC against all odds beat Silvers Strikers at Civo Stadium on Saturday, to start the defence of their TNM Super League on a positive note.



After barrel first half in which both team  created good scoring opportunities Bullets drew first bllod in the 62nd minute through veteran striker Chiukepo Msowoya’s wonderful goal.



Chiukepo got the end of Jaffalie Chande’s effort to put his team on course for the famous victory.



But Bullets had to wait as Silver eqaulised in the 32nd minute through Sam Gunde in the 77th minute.



Leftback Yamikani Fodya scored the winner in the 84th minute from a freekick delivered just outside the 18-yard box in a highly competitive match which reflected on the official opening match of the season.



Bullets faced their former top players Tizgobere Kumwenda and Victor Limabani but new signing Eneya Banda from relegated Karonga United was a marvel to watch and deservedly voted man of the match.



Bullets coach Lyoid Nkhwazi said he was happy to win the first game of the season against a highly fancied team.

The concept of ‘Ubuntu’ should be applied to the ethical treatment of Ebola - and other neglected tropical diseases – in order to change the way that African countries respond to the disease. This is according to Professor Thaddeus Metz, Humanities Research Professor, University of Johannesburg. Prof Metz interprets the word ‘Ubuntu’ – which means humanity to others - as requiring ‘honour for other people in communal relationships’ and ‘sharing a way of life’. He was speaking at a packed session of the Ethics, Human Rights and Medical Law conference on the third day of the 5th annual Africa Health Exhibition & Congress, which took place from 5 to 7 May at the Gallagher Convention Centre. Prof Metz said, “Roughly speaking, at the core of Ubuntu is the need to act in a loving way and, in this perspective, wrong behaviour is unloving. I think an Ubuntu ethic recommends that Africans must take the lead when responding to tropical African diseases. I’m afraid the African Union d
